Food Banks

HOW TO GET HELP:

To access a food bank, a place where you can receive free food support, you need to get a Foodbank voucher.

To get a Foodbank voucher you need to:

  • Contact the free national helpline, Help through Hardship, on 0808 2082138 (open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, NOT public holidays) to talk confidently with a trained Citizens Advice Adviser.

  • They will assess you and if appropriate, issue you with a foodbank voucher.

  • Take your foodbank voucher to your nearest Foodbank centre.

You can ask your support worker or your health practitioner with help in this.
